Tuesday Seminar Series: Industrial Law for Organisers

Unions and workers have to adapt to challenging work environments and the ACTU Organising Centre plays a major role in supporting unions and working people. They do this by:

  • cross union training for officials and union reps
  • training courses for individual unions for officials and reps/activists
  • working with individual unions to assist them in making structural and operational changes (facilitation of planning, workshops and meetings; design and facilitation of delegate conferences; consultancy to review and redesign delegate and activist education)

The Organising Centre has offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

The Adelaide Office is situated at SA Unions and is staffed by Assistant Director Jane Clarke, Kate Coleman and Emma Lowe. They work closely with SA Unions and our affiliates to support our key initiatives  including the youth project and building union membership and activism in South Australia.

Contact Kate or Emma to discuss your training requirements (08) 8279 2222 or email them on kcoleman@actu.org.au or elowe@actu.org.au.
