SA Unions will commence training State and Commonwealth Health and Safety Representatives from July onward.   Please refer to the relevant training schedule for information regarding each course. 

Training Centre
SA Unions WHS Training Centre delivers a wide range of training and consultancy services to the private and public sectors and community organisations in South Australia.

Our specialist trainers and facilitators have many years experience in providing the highest quality training and are committed to delivering best practice through the design, delivery and content in a continual improvement cycle.

SA Unions courses are delivered in a relaxed friendly atmosphere with particular attention to participant interaction and acquiring hands-on-skills.

We are based in Adelaide – our Training Centre is located at 170 Greenhill Road, Parkside. Training is delivered in our Centre and in workplaces and regional locations throughout the State.

Training is delivered by SA Unions.

 

Training Schedule
The training schedule has a different look as we are offering a mixture of Face to Face and Real Time Delivery over the next 6 months.  Each course has a code which you need to include on your enrolment form.  If you have any concerns or queries regarding the schedule, please contact Helen Adams, e. hadams@saunions.org.au, otherwise your Enrolment Form can be sent direct to saunions@saunions.org.au.  We look forward to delivering the courses and once we have received your Enrolment Form, we will provide you with information on what SA Unions will be doing to keep you safe at our premises.

CONDUCTING TRAINING IN A COVID-19 ENVIRONMENT

SA Unions complies with Public health laws, National Safe Work Principles and Safe Work Australia’s industry guidance.  Safe Work Australia’s industry guidance is available at: http://www.swa.gov.au/covid-19-information-workplaces

Our training will be delivered via a mixture of Face To Face and Real Time Delivery.   Where courses are longer than a 2 day duration, they will be delivered Face To Face over a few weeks or Face to Face and Real Time Delivery over 2 weeks.

We ask all participants attending our courses to please contact us prior to the commencement if you are unwell with a fever, have acute respiratory infection, or gastroenteritis.  We will transfer you to the next available course and waive the cancellation fee once we have received written confirmation from your employer.

If you develop any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 during the course, please immediately tell the Trainer, contact your employer, contact your health provider and remove yourself from the building:

  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Cough
  • Fatigue
  • Difficulty breathing

On-Site Training
All courses in our program can be delivered on site in your workplace and customised to suit your needs. If the course you want is not included in our program, we can design it for you.
