attend the full 5 days of scheduled Level 1 courses.
Split
Course
If it is not possible for you to attend the Level 1 course on five consecutive days, you may like to consider splitting your attendance between two courses. This can be done on the basis of either a two/three or three/two split. The
split training should be undertaken

consecutive
scheduled
courses.

Course Description

GENERAL LEVEL 1 HEALTH AND SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE COURSE
(5 days)
A five day
course where
participants
will gain an
understanding
of the
principles
of the WHS Legislation;
including
the role of
the Health
and Safety
Representative
and the
Health and
Safety
Committee.
The course
will provide
participants
with a basic
understanding
of the
principles
and practice
of hazard
management
and skills
to consult
and
negotiate.
